Greenwich University: Programme Leader BA Hons Architecture (06-present).  Atelier Tutor (03-4+05-present). Run degree course to RIBA part 1 stage.  Carried out course review in 06.  Developed design ateliers as platform for diverse design agendas, expanded range of tectonic ateliers, set up integrated technology lecture series and tutor team, integrated full time and part time students.  Ran design atelier using film as an anthropological tool to explore social spaces in London, leading to full scale wind responsive 'film mutoscope' constructions. (see ‘installations + pastoral technology). Responsible for course with 380 students and 40 academic staff (part time and full time)

London Metropolitan University: Academic Leader for 7 undergraduate courses with 410 students and 44 academic staff (full time and part time): BA Hons Architecture, Interior Architecture, Spatial Arts, Architectural Studies, Foundation in Architecture, Access to Architecture, International Foundation in Architecture. (04-06).  Ran lecture series and seminars in 'Design: Communication and Participation' and 'Precedent Studies'.  Ran design studio using participatory tools and 'accidental farm' collage processes leading to a full scale construction for 'Deaf Rave' interactive beach huts. (see ‘installations').

London College of Communications External Examiner (07-present)

Oxford Brookes University: 3rd yr. Course Leader, vertical unit design tutor (95-04). Responsible for course with 80 students and 18 academic staff (part time and full time)
(98 – 04). Introduced and set up ‘digital culture’ module and vertical units for 2nd and 3rd yr.  Set up collaborative projects with University College Dublin (Architecture) and Freie Universitaet, Berlin (Anthropology - Berlin/Las Vegas).  Ran a series of ‘construction projects’ where student projects were detailed and built on site by the group over a four week period, culminating in an event with invited guests (see ‘installations + pastoral technology’). 

Gave lectures/seminars in Landscape, wrote course handbooks in Design, Advanced Representation and Digital Culture.  Assessed dissertations in Landscape and History+Theory. Tutored RIBA Bronze Medal Nominees, organised exhibitions, staffing, external and internal exams, student portfolio reviews, design staff meetings, and preparations for QAA and RIBA visiting boards. Critic for Diploma, Masters Architecture+Cultural Studies, Masters Energy Efficient Buildings (98-04) 

Nicola Koller's Bathing club

Nicola's bathing club was designed to be invisible from the CCTV cameras around a busy coastal railway station. Bather's clothing is stored in transparent floating plastic bags while swimmers are photographed from underwater. The photographs are developed within the thickness of the wall, hidden in bottles, corked, then dispersed into the sea on the other side of the wall , from where they will float back to England. The swimmer is seduced and tricked by the sea.
